Where Are You?

Good Friday Messages

From the Garden of Eden to the Garden of Gethsemane, this Good Friday we reflect on the cost of sin—and the depth of God’s love. In Eden, sin entered the world through disobedience, bringing separation, suffering, and death. Yet even then, God promised redemption (Genesis 3:15). In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, "Not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42), beginning the final steps toward the cross. He was betrayed, arrested, tried, and crucified. Around 3:00 PM, He declared: "It is finished." One man’s disobedience brought judgment. One man’s obedience brought salvation (Romans 5:18–19). As we remember His body and blood through Communion, we’re reminded of the question God still asks “Where are you?”
