Fighting For Your Family
In the final week of our Home Sweet Home series, Pastor Galen Woodward brings a powerful message titled “Fighting for Your Family.” From Nehemiah’s example of rebuilding the walls, we are reminded that families today must also rise up and fight — not with weapons, but with consistency, wisdom, and protection. Our homes are under pressure from culture, distractions, and spiritual attack, but God has called us to be faithful gatekeepers over our marriages, children, and households. Wisdom will keep you from having an affair. Wisdom will keep you from anger and rage. Wisdom will keep you from addiction. Wisdom will keep you from marrying the wrong person. Wisdom will protect you financially. Wisdom will protect you from being influenced into a false worldview. Wisdom will keep you from making wrong decisions. Wisdom will protect you from insecurity. Closing Prayer from Pastor Galen: “Lord, Today we rise to fight for our families, for our sons and our daughters, for our husbands and our wives. Make us faithful gatekeepers. Help us to stand watch over our homes and hearts. May our homes be filled with peace, faith and strength. In Jesus name, Amen.” This message is a call to action for every parent, spouse, and believer: fight for your home with faith, prayer, and godly wisdom.
