"The LORD was with Joseph." This is the theme of Joseph’s life, but it’s interesting that when the Lord was with Him - it still did not spare him. Being with God did not spare Joseph the hatred and jealousy of his brothers, being sold into slavery, temptation, false accusations, and imprisonment.
